This Centennial farm in Pinckney bordering Howell and
Brighton is a working farm that has been in the Chambers family
for 6 generations. This private, country setting allows children
and their families to feel welcome and safe. Campers will
have the responsibility each morning of helping out with the
everyday chores in the barn which include; milking, feeding,
grooming, collecting eggs, and cleaning. Children will learn about
animals through hands on experiences. Pony rides and horseback
riding lessons will be available each week as part of our
weekly program. Hayrides to the pond to go fishing is a favorite
for all. The biggest fish, littlest fish contest and boat race will
be a new challenges this summer. Weekly themes, games, gardening,
hay rides, archery, and much more. New this year will
be “a summer of sports.” Campers will focus on different sports
each week so the campers can gain basic knowledge of the
sport and just have fun. Children love to explore at the Native
American Village. Here they learn to cook over an open fire, make
crafts, explore nature, and catch frogs, small fish, and crawdads.
This year the children will make a Teepee for the village.
Families will enjoy the end of the summer pig roast.
