Youth Challenge Weekends are designed to help teenagers ages 13-17 who are having a difficult time managing their actions and emotions. Youth who are making poor life choices, running away, stealing from family and friends or creating disturbances in their communities and families will benefit from these weekends by confronting behavior patterns that create disturbance; discovering a sense of purpose and self-esteem; identifying and engaging in healthy choices; demonstrating accountability and responsibility for own actions; and gaining empowerment to take on new behavior that is positive.

Family Challenge Weekends are designed much like Youth Weekends and focus on family dynamics and roles, communication, conflict resolution and anger management as they pertain to struggling families. Parents and youth attend together learning new skills and insights into their relationship.

Base Camp for ages 10-12 and Project Survive Camps for ages 13-17 begin in the summer of 2012. These 8 and 12-day intensive wilderness experiences are for older child and adolescent youth who are perhaps first-time offenders, struggling behaviorally at school and in the community, or who may be in need of additional support services. Program goals include improving social, emotional and behavioral functioning; helping youth explore healthy decision-making; creating opportunities for growth and self-discovery; creating opportunities to discover productive ways of managing daily stressors and conflict; encouraging youth go step outside their comfort zone by taking risks and trying new things in a safe, supportive atmosphere; and providing a positive growth experience for youth were they can learn to work cooperatively with others and have fun in the process.

Family Challenge Weekends $400/weekend per family; Youth Challenge Weekends $200/weekend per youth
