The Nature Center at Kensington Metropark offers family programs
throughout the year with seasonal themes for the public to enjoy. Schools and
families can sign up for a nature talk or a walk on our trails. The Nature Center
is open all year round. In the exhibit room children can explore and learn
about the plants and animals found in the park, including deer and fish, and
see live native fish, snakes and turtles, and honeybees. The Metroparks
newletter, published quarterly, offers information, history and events happening
throughout the Metroparks system. You may sign up to receive the newsletter
online or by stopping by the
Nature Center lobby. A printed monthly schedule of activities is also available
in the lobby.
