     Sloan Museum is a regional destination for history and social studies.
Visitors enjoy a variety of historical exhibits about Flint and Genesee County
as well as General Motors.
     Work and Play of Yesterday
     Pre-K children explore children’s history through a story and a series of fun
hands-on stations. What kind of toys kept your great-great-grandparents
busy when they weren’t doing their chores? Find out through play stations,
including washboards, graces and a make & take toy.
     Grandma’s Trunk
     Grades K – 1 can see how life was different for mom, grandma and
great-grandma through hands-on exploration with historical objects. Introduces
children to the importance of museums and their own family’s past. Call for
schedule. Safe and free parking. There is an area to eat lunch for groups large
and small. Our gift shop has items for sale including patches, space toys and
